PENMANSHIEL WIND FARM

RES received consent for Penmanshiel Wind Farm, near Grantshouse on 16th October 2013.  RES originally applied for 15 turbines at Penmanshiel Moor, however through the appeal process the turbine closest to the winding cairn was removed.  The operational turbines have a maximum blade tip height of 100m and an expected life of 25 years.
